Mancan Staffing, in partnership with a leading Ashtabula County industrial facility, is seeking a dependable Parts Runner / Shop Attendant for a full-time 1st Shift opportunity.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a variety of responsibilities, including driving, organizing, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Schedule: 1st Shift: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Location: Based out of the Saybrook Shop with travel between local facilities and job sites
Pay: $16.00

Position Summary
The Parts Runner / Shop Attendant is responsible for transporting parts, materials, and supplies between company facilities, vendors, and project locations using a company pickup truck. When deliveries are not scheduled, this individual will assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of shop facilities, work areas, and restrooms. This is a full-time position requiring a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Safely operate a company pickup truck to transport parts, materials, tools, and supplies between facilities and job sites.
* Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records as required.
* Assist with cleaning and organizing shop floors, work areas, break areas, and restrooms during downtime.
* Remove waste and debris while following company and environmental guidelines.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
* Follow all company safety policies, driving regulations, and operational procedures.
* Support shop operations and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
* Valid Ohio Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
* Must be at least 18 years old to meet company insurance requirements.
* Ability to safely operate a pickup truck in various weather and road conditions.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Experience
* Previous driving, delivery, warehouse, janitorial, or shop support experience is a plus.
* Experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, mechanical, or maintenance environments is helpful but not required.

Education Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED preferred.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This position works in an industrial shop setting and may involve exposure to machinery, heavy equipment, grease, oils, solvents, dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

Candidates must be able to:
* Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
* Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.
* Safely operate a motor vehicle throughout the workday.
* Work in indoor and outdoor environments as needed.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
