Occupational Therapist

Conducts occupational therapy treatments as per the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP). Performs ongoing assessment and completes documentation as per DOH Early Intervention Guidelines. Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Provides developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Completes thorough and accurate daily session notes and progress summary.
• Maintains acceptable levels of patient care productivity.
• Counsels and educates patient/family/caregiver.
• Communicates with other essential medical personnel and other providers including other EI providers.
• Completes all required DOH Early Intervention documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field Preferred: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: 1-3 years experience: will consider new graduate Preferred: None
• License, Registry or Certification: Required: Current New Jersey State-Occupational Therapy License Preferred: None
• Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Pediatric experience; Knowledge of Neuro-developmental and Sensory Integration treatment, typical/atypical child development Preferred: None
