This facility is recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital and a Five-Star rated Hospital and Nursing Home. With a team of over 500 employees, the organization provides a wide range of specialized services—including advanced imaging, cancer care, and a locally-owned air ambulance service—while maintaining a family-like atmosphere and a focus on work-life balance.

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the clinical team. This role is essential to both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing high-quality respiratory treatments and diagnostic testing for patients of all age groups.

Employment Details

  • Status: Full-time.
  • Hours: 72–80 hours per two-week pay period.
  • Incentives: Sign-on bonus available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality respiratory treatments and diagnostic testing (PFTs, Stress Tests, and EKGs) for patients across the lifespan.
  • Operate and maintain various types of respiratory equipment.
  • Educate patients and families regarding respiratory diseases, medications, and care plans.
  • Assist in developing successful discharge plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Licensure: Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) licensed by the State of Montana.
  • Certifications: Current BLS certification; must have or obtain NRP and ACLS within the first six months of employment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
