Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
• Perform rapid assessments and triage patients based on acuity levels
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Assist with trauma cases, resuscitations, and emergency procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, paramedics, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency environment

Requirements

• Active RN License in Washington
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• PALS Certification preferred
• TNCC Certification preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency setting
