Job Description
Job Title: CT/Xray Tech
Profession: CT/Xray Tech

Shift: Monday - Friday
Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0800-1630)
Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred
License: Must have active VA license
Certifications: AHA BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R

Must-Have:
Must be a dual modality Tech (CT and X-ray).
Must have strong IV skills.

Description:
Common studies performed include CT of heads, abdomen, pelvis, angiography, and extremities.
X-ray includes routine XR exams.
Number of studies per day ranges from 0 to 15, with a maximum of 22 exams, but that is rare.
Experience with EMR/Equipment brand EPIC and PACS is required.
CT unit is Siemens and the X-ray unit is Philips.
On-call is as needed.
Holidays are worked into the schedule.
Must have strong IV skills.
Floor-specific orientation is available.
Epic access is needed.
