Start date will be no less than 5 weeks after traveler's fingerprint cards are received at SEARHC in Juneau for processing. Upon acceptance, please have your traveler make an appt for fingerprints and get them in the mail within 2-3 days to avoid start date getting pushed back.

Ambulatory RN (Case Manager) - OB Clinic

The Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting individuals and families across the continuum of care. This role utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; administer medications and treatments; perform clinical procedures; and provide patient education and care coordination in collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary teams. The Ambulatory RN ensures accurate documentation, adherence to infection control and regulatory standards, and efficient clinic operations while promoting quality outcomes, patient safety, and culturally responsive care in a fast paced ambulatory environment.

Required certifications: BLS, Case Management certification preferred

  The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care across the lifespan in accordance with organizational standards, policies, and evidence-based practice. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered services. The RN collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes, safety, and positive patient experience.
  Maintains skill sets, annual competencies, certifications, and participates in in-services and educational programs within the Clinic, hospital, and/or community as assigned; completes all mandatory training; attends and participates in staff meetings; adheres to infection control policy and procedures. Maintains a clean and safe working environment including adequate supplies and upkeep of unit and equipment, reporting any defective or missing equipment and safety hazards; refers un-resolved problems with patients/coworkers/visitors to department manager or administrative manager for resolution; addresses employee concerns consistent with Human Resources Policy.

    Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
  • Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state required.
  • Agency staff must have an active Alaska license.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
