Technical Support Specialist – Desktop & Executive Support Forsyth, GA 100% Onsite

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a Technical Support Specialist who combines hands-on troubleshooting skills with the professionalism to support executives and users across multiple locations. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with people, resolving hardware and software issues, and helping users stay productive. You'll support Windows and Mac devices, coordinate technology and access requests, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide in-person desktop support for employees, senior leaders, and other priority users with professionalism, discretion, and clear communication.
• Troubleshoot Windows 11 and macOS devices, including operating system, application, hardware, and peripheral issues.
• Image, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot computers, ensuring devices are ready for reliable day-to-day use.
• Support Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Visio, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and VPN issues, coordinating with the appropriate IT teams when additional support is needed.
• Coordinate requests for network access, VPN access, hardware, and software through established approval processes.
• Translate technical issues into clear explanations and practical guidance for users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Recommend technology solutions that address business needs and improve the user experience.
• Work across IT teams to resolve issues, communicate progress, and maintain service quality as priorities change.
• Provide support at multiple locations, including secure or restricted-access facilities when required.
• Handle sensitive information carefully and follow confidentiality, security, and applicable HIPAA requirements.

What You Bring:

• At least three years of hands-on, in-person technical support experience, including hardware troubleshooting, software support, computer imaging, and Windows 11 or a comparable Windows environment.
• Previous experience supporting MacBooks, with the ability to troubleshoot common macOS, application, and device issues.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Visio.
• Practical understanding of desktop connectivity and VPN troubleshooting, including how to distinguish device, access, and network issues.
• Strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the diplomacy to support executives and users under time pressure.
• The ability to manage competing requests, work independently, and follow issues through to resolution.
• Comfort learning unfamiliar applications and computerized data management systems.
• Flexibility to support changing business needs and work within the procedures of secure environments.
