Senior Technology Manager – Technology & Global Operations

Direct Hire | $190K Target Base + Annual Incentive | Global Technology Leadership

Location:   Albertville, AL (Strongly Preferred) | Southlake, TX | La Grange, IL

Work Arrangement:  100% Onsite, 5 Days Per Week – Non-Negotiable

Travel: Approximately 25%

We are partnering with a well-established global industrial organization seeking an accomplished Senior Technology Manager to lead a highly visible, revenue-generating technology operation.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a technology leader who brings more than technical expertise. We're looking for someone who understands how technology drives revenue, strengthens customer relationships, supports global operations, and delivers measurable business value.

As  Senior Technology Manager – Technology & Global Operations You'll lead a diverse technical organization, partner directly with senior executives and global customers, and oversee business-critical technology solutions and services.

This is a strategic leadership position, not a hands-on software development role.

Senior Technology Manager – Commercial Technology & Global Operations - What You'll Lead

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a commercial technology organization supporting global business operations and customers.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary technical teams, including software engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, and technical support professionals.
• Oversee enterprise application development, technology implementations, and customer-facing solutions.
• Direct a global 24/7 technology support operation, ensuring service reliability, customer satisfaction, and adherence to demanding SLAs.
• Partner with executive leadership to align technology strategy, investments, and delivery with business and revenue objectives.
• Serve as a key technology representative in discussions with senior executives, external customers, and global business partners.
• Oversee project financials, resource planning, delivery schedules, operational performance, and risk management.
• Support commercial contract obligations, cybersecurity compliance, and customer service commitments.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and collaborate across global business and technology teams.
• Build a high-performing organization through effective leadership, mentoring, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Senior Technology Manager – Commercial Technology & Global Operations - What Makes You a Strong Fit

• 10+ years of progressive technology management and leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading enterprise application development and technology delivery within a large, global organization.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology decisions to financial performance, revenue, and customer outcomes.
• Demonstrated success managing diverse technical teams across software engineering, cloud, data, and technical support functions.
• Experience overseeing global technology operations, including 24/7 support environments and service-level commitments.
• Understanding of commercial contracts, cybersecurity compliance, and customer-facing technology services.
• Executive presence and the ability to communicate confidently with senior leadership and external customers.
• Strong financial management, vendor management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership capabilities.
• Technical depth sufficient to challenge, guide, and support technical teams without being a hands-on developer.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.

Senior Technology Manager – Commercial Technology & Global Operations - Compensation & Benefits

• Target base salary: $180-190,000K
• Annual performance incentive: 20% target, with potential to reach 40% through incentive multipliers

Senior Technology Manager – Commercial Technology & Global Operations - Location & Travel

Albertville, Alabama is strongly preferred, as the core technology team is based there.

Southlake, Texas and La Grange, Illinois may also be considered.

This position requires working onsite five days per week. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.

Approximately 25% travel is expected, depending on business needs and location.
