Security Supervisor

Job Overview Oversees and maintains the flow and balance of work in the Security Department. Provides leadership, direction, and a working environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction. Ensures that the standards of service are met for the Security Department in a manner consistent with SMC's/EDM's mission, vision, and values. Persons in this position must be able to perform all of the duties and functions of a Security Officer, including initial incident response, interviewing, and investigations. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree or equivalent two years of related training and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in healthcare security. FEMA Level 100 or higher certification (upon hire). Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Must provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. Preferred Qualifications Basic Security Officer Certification and Supervisory Development Certification through the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (upon hire). 2 years of related experience and training desired, preferably in Healthcare Security and Safety. Pay Range $31.43 - $48.08 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
