Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric PACU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 2-3 years of pediatric post-anesthesia and pre-testing experience and an active DC RN license.
Details
- Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with a varying day off
- Variable shift start times ranging between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required (pending license accepted for submittal only, but must be issued prior to start date)
- 2-3 years of pediatric post-anesthesia care experience required
- 2-3 years of pediatric pre-testing experience required
- No background check or license violations accepted
Additional Information
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to pediatric patients
- Required training modules must be completed within the first week of the assignment
- Missed shifts due to call-outs must be made up at the end of the contract, extending the assignment as needed
- Facility drug/health clearance is sent directly to the traveler but does not confirm clearance to start; candidates must confirm clearance prior to their first day
