Logistics/OPS Specialists

Logistics/Ops SpecialistRole will report to the Company's Operations Manager. This is a part-time position.Responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely. Processes orders and oversees cycle of order fulfillment for stores and ecommerce. Logistics ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the shipping of products from one destination to anotherArrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delayReceives products and coordinates deliveryPrepares loads for shipmentTakes steps to avoid quality control issuesMakes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levelsManages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are metOversees inventory of goods and vehiclesContinually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possibleStreamlines shipping and transportation processesOperational ResponsibilitiesManage appropriate inventory levels of centralized warehouse by ensuring the timely placement of orders. Tasks include coordinate receipt of incoming shipments and continuous refinement of inventory management process.Lead Ops in fulfillment and production of standard prep items such as tea dose bags, ecommerce orders, and proprietary syrups.Communicate essential information to cross-functional teams in a clear and timely manner, maintaining confidentiality where appropriate.Over time, serve as point-person for all major purchasing decisions including procuring new vendor relationships.QualificationsA minimum of one year of operations or logistics experience and/or related experience and training.Proven and on-going ability to control costs through consistent improvements and optimizationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention-to-detail with a bias toward time management/efficiency mindsetCompetency and working knowledge of quality assurance and quality management principlesAbility to effectively prioritize, problem solve, using sound judgment and procedural mindsetPerformance that consistently demonstrates Boba Guys' Vision, Mission, and Values.In return for all of this, you will receive a respectful work environment, excellent training, a sense of accomplishment, advancement opportunities and the breadth and depth of tea knowledge from a growing food & beverage startup.We encourage applicants of all backgrounds.
