Staff Accountant

Brayman Construction Corporation in Saxonburg, PA is looking to hire a full-time Staff Accountant to perform critical daily and monthly accounting duties. The role involves recording transactions, maintaining financial records, conducting periodic financial analysis and reporting, preparing income tax computations, and supporting a diverse group of companies. Key Duties and Responsibilities Assist with balance sheet account reconciliations Prepare journal entry packages and record them in Viewpoint Participate in the month‑end close process to ensure timely and accurate completion Assist with analytical procedures to evaluate financial results Prepare financial statements for internal reporting and external reports when necessary Prepare debt journal entry packages for multiple debt arrangements Prepare ASC 842 journal entry packages for multiple entities Perform cash applications and bank reconciliations for all non‑ZBA entities/accounts Support cash applications for entities in the ZBA Provide financial information necessary to complete year‑end audits Assist with other tasks as assigned Qualifications Strong Excel and accounting software skills Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of employee and company information Ability to work independently and as part of a team BS/BA in accounting 2‑4 years of relevant accounting experience Additional Requirements This is a safety‑sensitive position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. The role may entail site work at night and on weekends on an as‑needed basis. It will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our federal contracting status. Some positions may involve access to confidential and proprietary information. Successful candidates will be required to sign a standard confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment.
