Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS/RVT) | Weekend Night Block | Saint Petersburg, FL

Assignment Details

• 13-Week Contract
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 36 Hours per Week

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on pediatric patients.
• Obtain high-quality sonographic images for radiologist review and interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate documentation of studies.
• Reconcile physician orders and maintain exam-related data management.
• Transport patients as needed and provide compassionate patient care.
• Ensure timely completion and accountability of imaging results.
• Follow departmental protocols and hospital safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience.
• Pediatric ultrasound experience required.
• Previous experience in a Children's Hospital strongly preferred.
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required.
• ARDMS certification required.
• RVT certification required.
• Current BLS certification through AHA.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric Sonography (PS) certification.
• Extensive pediatric imaging experience in an acute care hospital setting.
