Job Description
Travel RN - Surgical ICU (Nights)

This is a 13-week contract position.

7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN for the Surgical ICU. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring critically ill patients, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The unit houses a patient ratio of 1:2, with 1:1 for high-acuity patients, including post-CABG cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube placements and central line insertions
• Utilize advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and ECMO
• Document patient data using Meditech EMR

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification required
• TNCC preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities highly regarded
