Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) - Travel Contract

Position Description:

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices
\n
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
\n
• Current CPR if applicable
\n
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
\n
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
\n
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
\n
• Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations
\n

Minimum Experience and Certification Required:

\n
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  \n Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
\n
• Massachusetts state licensure in Respiratory Therapy.
\n
• Current BLS certification
\n
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - preferred in hand, can complete on-site
\n
• Minimum one-year critical care experience preferred.
\n

Travel Pay: $24/hr |  $644 (meals)  | $917 (housing) = $2,425/wk
