Dietitian - Registered Dietitian Profession: Dietary Services Specialty: Dietitian Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, RD/RDN Must-Have: Adult outpatient/clinic experience Experience with calorie counts Ability to develop treatment plans Knowledge of enteral nutrition (tube feedings) Understanding of food-drug interactions Experience with intake and output Proficiency in nutrition assessments and reassessments Knowledge of total parenteral nutrition (TPN) Description:Unit details include weekend coverage every other week.Call requirements do not apply.Floating within facility/scope of practice is expected as needed.Compliance with requirements is mandatory to start on time.All compliance documents must be submitted by the deadline.Orientation hours will be determined by contract length.Travelers must be prepared to work on major holidays if they occur during the assignment.If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.If two major holidays occur during the assignment, both must be worked.If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of these holidays.Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Years Eve/New Years Day.
