The Laboratory Logistics Representative is the primary contact to dispatch will calls to the Laboratory Courier plus provides operational and administrative support to the Laboratory Logistics Department.
A caregiver in this position works days| 8:00am4:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Provide daily operational support to the Laboratory Logistics Department.
- Dispatch laboratory couriers for calls.
- Assist with fulfillment of supply orders to include packing supplies and use of shipping software.
- Provide clerical support for the department.
- Demonstrate ability in all aspects of the courier/supply management software system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state driver's license (VDL)
- Good driving record
- Obtain and maintain eligibility as determined by CCF's insurance carrier's requirements to operate Foundation vehicles
- Obtain required HazMat/Dangerous Goods Handling certification within 6 months of hire
- Computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- 1 year of experience as a courier, storeroom or similar experience
- Previous dispatching or storeroom experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to spend long hours driving and working in all weather conditions.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
