Physical Therapy Assistant PRN

WeCare at The Green Home Care Center is actively seeking a motivated, PRN ,  Physical Therapist Assistant  for our community in Wellsboro, PA. Our Physical Therapist Assistant helps residents improve their mobility and move forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Making modifications to treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help the patient progress or to ensure patient safety and comfort.

• Preparing patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans as instructed, including exercise, stretching, applying modalities, and functional mobility training.

• Recording patient's reaction to treatment and providing status reports at the end of each treatment.

• Using assistive devices and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.

• Current State PTA License.

• Outpatient experience is preferred.
