License: Required

Certifications: BLS Certification

Must-Have: Generalist with evaluation and treatment skills to cover a broad range of patients

Description: Department: Occupational Therapy

Number of patients treated per day: Highly variable based on census and scheduled hours per day

General certification requirements include BLS and state licensure

Common diagnoses/types of patients include general medical, CVA, hip fractures, post-operative THR/TKR, adhesive capsulitis, tendon injuries, upper extremity fractures, carpal/cubital tunnel issues, developmental delay, and sensory issues

Acute inpatient, swing-bed, assisted living, and outpatient settings are included in the role

Occupational Therapist will be responsible for covering all required areas

No weekend or holiday requirements currently

Scrub color/dress code: Black scrubs or a black collared shirt with khaki pants

Department-specific orientation will be provided

The job involves cancellation policy of up to 2 per 13-week assignment

Charting system in use is Cerner
