Sinai Health System’s Surgical Intensive Care unit in Chicago provides care for trauma and critically ill surgical patients. The SICU team emphasizes teamwork, education, and high-acuity care, with nursing staff supported by social workers and therapists to ensure smooth transition from hospital to home.
