Woodstock, Georgia | $90,000–$110,000 + Bonus

What You'll Be Doing

You'll provide structural engineering and design for residential and light commercial projects throughout the area.

Responsibilities will include:

• Designing structural systems for residential and light commercial buildings

• Performing structural calculations and analysis

• Designing wood framing systems

• Developing foundation designs

• Preparing framing plans

• Producing construction documents

• Creating and modifying engineering drawings using AutoCAD

• Reviewing drawings for structural integrity and code compliance

• Developing solutions for renovations, additions, and structural repairs

• Evaluating existing structures

• Performing occasional local site visits

• Coordinating with architects, builders, contractors, homeowners, and clients

• Managing multiple projects and deadlines

• Maintaining accurate engineering documentation

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an engineer who understands structural design and enjoys finding practical solutions to real-world construction challenges.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline

• Structural design experience

• Residential structural engineering experience

• Knowledge of wood-framed construction

• Understanding of foundations and structural framing systems

• Ability to perform structural calculations and develop construction documents

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with architects, contractors, builders, and clients

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

AutoCAD experience is preferred.

EIT or PE certification is a plus, but it is not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $90,000–$110,000, depending on experience
