Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality acute care in a fast-paced trauma center. The ideal candidate will have strong trauma, pediatric, and procedural sedation experience, ready to handle high patient acuity and volume.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage incoming trauma and emergency patients promptly and accurately.
• Administer advanced emergency interventions, including IV sedation and procedural sedation management.
• Document patient care and clinical findings accurately using EPIC charting systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain certifications as required.
• Support unit operations during high patient ratios and fluctuating census.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active MI RN license, with pending license ETA if applicable.
• Possess at least 2 years of Level I trauma ER experience.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, and NIH modules.
• Provide proof of high school education; secondary education is not mandatory.
• Demonstrate strong trauma and pediatric emergency care skills.
• Experience with EPIC charting and trauma center protocols preferred.
