Job Overview
Quality Assurance Technician
Wage: $20+/hr (depending on experience)
Location: Stephenson County IL
Shift: 1st shift
Responsibilities
Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations
Conduct product inspections, testing, and basic documentation review
Identify and report quality issues; assist with corrective actions as needed
Support internal audits and regulatory inspections
Follow established quality procedures and assist in maintaining food safety standards
Maintain accurate quality records, logs, and reports
Qualifications
1–3+ years of experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and FDA/USDA regulations
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and organizational skills
