Bring your passion for cleanliness and commitment to teamwork and contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests at Makers Union.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the cleanliness and sanitization of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and maintain its proper functioning.Support the kitchen team by organizing and restocking clean dishes, glassware, and silverware.Maintain a clean and organized work area, collaborating with fellow team members.Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines for proper handling and disposal of waste.Assist in maintaining smooth kitchen operations by working closely with the culinary staff.QualificationsPhysical Requirements:Dishwashing experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.Able to read documents and written instructions to understand sanitation requirements, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance, policies, and standard operating procedures.Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.Stand for long hours, often in wet conditions.Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (racks of dishes, garbage bags).Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment.Bend, stoop, and reach frequently.Operate dishwashing equipment safely.Makers Union was created with inclusiveness at its core, reimagining the modern pub experience.
