Director of Human Resources
Seeking a hands-on Director of HR (People) to own the full HR function for a growing, private equity-backed organization of approximately 75 employees.


This is a highly visible role focused on people, culture, growth, recruiting, compliance, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall HR/People function and advise leadership on employee matters.
• Lead HR support for M&A, acquisitions, and employee integration.
• Manage recruiting strategy and personally support hiring for MSP technicians, engineers, BDMs, and other key roles.
• Own performance management, quarterly KPIs, employee retention, and turnover.
• Oversee Trainual, onboarding, and employee development programs.
• Manage employee relations and CA, TX, and multi-state HR compliance.
• Partner with leadership on compensation, benefits, and equity incentive programs.
• Provide quarterly people metrics and reporting to executive leadership and the Board.
• Build scalable HR processes to support continued growth and acquisitions.

What We're Looking For

• PE/M&A HR experience
• Hands-on HR leadership + recruiting experience
• Strong CA/TX and multi-state HR knowledge
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience preferred.
• Experience supporting a company through significant growth.
• Strong employee relations and performance management skills.
• Experience with technical recruiting is highly desirable.
• Trainual experience is a plus.

First 90 Days

• Build relationships with leadership and employees.
• Assess current HR processes and priorities.
• Take ownership of recruiting and performance management.
• Strengthen compliance, retention, and onboarding.
• Establish clear people metrics and reporting.
• Prepare the organization for continued growth and future acquisitions.

Pay Range: $145,000 - $165,000 annual salary
