Job Details Job Location: A Advanced Services - AUBURN, WA 98001 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: Day Job Category: Construction, Civil Pipe Layer Job Overview A Advanced Septic and Construction Services is currently looking to add an experienced and talented Civil Construction Pipelayer to our Team. Our ideal candidate will have experience in pipe installation and utility locating, with strong knowledge of all aspects of underground utilities, including water, sewer, and storm systems. Job Responsibilities Work on active jobsites with a team to safely and productively complete civil, storm, sewer, and water projects Complete demolition, excavation, and installation of utilities Operate gas chop saws, plate compactors, jumping jacks, pumps, and other handheld power tools Efficiently read an engineer tape and level Maintain a clean and organized jobsite Work with site plans to install underground utilities Able to set up pipe and rotator laser and use efficiently Calculate and set grades and slopes Work safely in and around trench boxes, shoring systems, and steel plates Keep company equipment properly serviced and clean Communicate effectively throughout projects with peers and supervisors as needed or directed Perform general labor duties as assigned and/or as the workload dictates Work in adverse weather and site conditions Install various sizes and types of pipes ¾” to 24” Familiar with the installation of different size structures within storm and sewer systems Requirements 2+ Years Civil Construction experience focused on underground excavation/utilities Reliable transportation Valid driver’s license with 3+ years of verifiable driving history (learner's permit time excluded) Must meet company and insurance carrier Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards and be insurable under the company's commercial auto policy No DUIs, DWIs, or license suspensions within the past 5 years (per insurance carrier requirements) Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check in accordance with applicable laws Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy and applicable laws Ability to work in a physically demanding and labor-intensive position safely and productively, including lifting, digging, and trenching Able to work in all climates Must be willing to learn and willing to train others Ability to communicate effectively with the team Heavy Equipment Operation Responsibilities Work on active jobsites with a team to safely and productively complete civil storm sewer and water projects Operate heavy equipment such as front loaders, excavators, onsite dump trucks, forklifts, and sweepers Keep company equipment serviced and cleaned Conduct daily inspections on equipment ensuring safety and reliability Read and interpret site plans to determine the layout of pipes Be able to safely move/install steel plates and shoring boxes Communicate effectively throughout projects with peers and supervisors as needed or directed Be able to work in tight areas around existing utilities Comfortable installing various sized concrete structures associated with storm and sewer systems Confidently operate closely to individuals and buildings safely without incidents Benefits Package Includes Company Paid Medical for Employees ($25.00 bi-weekly employee contribution) Dental Insurance – Supplemental Available (After 2 months) Vision Insurance – Supplemental Available (After 2 months) Company Paid $25,000 Life Insurance Supplemental Life Insurance – Principal + Colonial 401K - 4% Company Match Paid Sick Leave Paid Time Off (PTO) Plans Pet Insurance – Supplemental Available through United Healthcare Aflac Supplemental Insurance (Short- & Long-Term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident, etc.) Professional Development Opportunities Referral Bonus Program Employee Discount Program 6 Paid Holidays (After 6 months of employment) Veterans and Active Military Members Receive Veterans Day as an Additional Paid Holiday (After 6 months of employment) Schedule Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr A-Advanced Septic Services
