What you will do Maintain, repair, install, and program Conventional and Addressable Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Nurse Call, and other related building systems products. How you will do it Use test equipment including multimeters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters, and communication devices. Perform physical labor, carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 40 lbs. Work in difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, working within ducts and crawl spaces above ceilings. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operation/product manuals. Perform inspections and installation activities on electronic fire systems. Overtime or overnight stays may be required during busy project schedules. Preferred Experience Minimum three (3) years experience in Fire Alarm or Integrated Security Systems maintenance. Low voltage electrical installation experience. IT and Networking experience. Required Experience and Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent customer interaction skills. Demonstrated ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs unaided by management. Self‑starter able to work with minimum supervision. Pass criminal background check and drug test. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Ability to obtain and retain licenses required by National, State, and Local codes. Compensation Hourly rate range: $21.92 – $30.14 per hour. The rate is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data. Exceptional candidates with unique skills may be considered beyond this range.
