Lube Technician

WasteConnections is looking for a Lube/Fuel Tech to work at our Post Oak Landfill in Luling,TX .Mechanicsinterested in secure, steady employment in a family atmosphere are encouraged to apply. In this position you will be doingpreventative maintenanceand minor repairs on ourheavy equipment.Monday-Friday 6am-5pm shift with some occasional work outside those hours.This is an hourly position typically working 50-55 hours. • FUELINGHEAVY EQUIPMENTAT THE LANDFILL DAILY
• GREASING AND CHECKING FLUIDS ON THEHEAVY EQUIPMENTDAILY
• Cleaning and maintaining Equipment
• Helpingmechanicson P/M services

Requirements:

• At least1 year of work experience. Preferablyin amaintenance/mechanic type role
• This position is an outdoor working environment
• Must be able to climb up and down a ladder or climb up and down theheavy equipment
• Experience running equipment is a plus (forklift, lube truck )
• Must pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must have personalhand toolsfor daily use
