Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in California. This position offers a consistent night schedule with a flexible and supportive imaging team. The ideal candidate will have strong CT imaging experience, excellent patient care skills, and familiarity with Epic EMR.

As a CT Technologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic CT examinations, ensure patient safety throughout procedures, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients during procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety standards are followed at all times.
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized imaging environment.

Required Qualifications

• Recent CT Technologist experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient safety standards.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Active California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License
• California Fluoroscopy Permit
• ARRT (R) – Radiography Certification
• ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography Certification
• Current BLS Certification
• CT Technologist Skills Competency
• Core Mandatory Exam (Allied/Non-Nursing)
