Pharmacist in Chippewa Falls, WI

A direct hire opportunity is available for a pharmacist at a well-established long term care pharmacy with 21 locations offering room for career growth. This position is based in Eau Claire, WI, serving Western Wisconsin, with a schedule of Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week and including on-call rotation.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PV1 and PV2 duties, including overseeing pharmacy technicians.
• Prepare IV medications and TPNs in a cleanroom setting.
• Utilize strong medication therapy management (MTM) skills, especially for candidates transitioning from retail pharmacy.
• Follow pharmacy system protocols using Frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license is required; candidates with a temporary ACT-10 license are considered but must obtain full licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience in long term care pharmacy is highly preferred.
• Retail pharmacists with excellent MTM abilities will also be considered.
• Ability to start immediately is ideal.
