Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Aveva/Static Equipment/Tank Design)

Location: Pittsburgh; PA (Onsite – No remote/ hybrid)

Pay Rate: around $ 60/ Hr. C2C / $55/hr W2

\n

Required experience: 10+ years

\n

Duration: long term – 21 Months +

\n

Education: B. Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

\n

\n

Must have experience: Aveva E3D/Static Equipment/Tank Design

\n

\n

Domain Exp: Oil and Gas/Hydrocarbon/ Carbon emission projects

\n

Job description:

\n

\n
• Design experience of ST Heat Exchangers, Columns, Pressure Vessels Storage Tanks .
\n
• Good knowledge of latest codes and standards as ASME section VIII Div. 1 and Div. 2, TEMA, and IBR, API TEMA, API 620/650/660, 12F/12D.
\n
• Experienced in using the tools PV Elite/Compress/Nozzle Pro
\n
• Technical Resolutions with Client and Vendors. Meetings with Client and inhouse departments for resolutions.
\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Responsible for individual requisitions for a project.
\n
• Mechanical Design for Columns, ST HE and Storage Tanks
\n
• Checking Equipment drawings - Inhouse and Vendor Documents
\n
• Responsible for Deliverables as per Project Schedule and Work Flow.
\n
• Preparation of Individual Purchase Specifications, Technical Bid Clarifications, Vendor co-ordination.
\n
• Providing necessary inputs to other departments.
\n
• Attend meetings with Client, Inhouse and, also with Vendors whenever necessary.
\n
• Attend meetings inhouse and extend to work towards deliverables completion.
\n
• Team member for ISO (Quality Assurance) documentation.
\n
• Mechanical Design of Static Equipment's viz. Pressure Vessels, Columns, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers etc.
\n
• Knowledge of different type of MOC's i.e. CS, SS, LAS, LTCS, Cladded Steel etc.
\n
• Vendor Document Review for various types of static equipment's & providing approval.
\n
• Co-ordinating with Inter-disciplinary departments for the VDR received from different vendors.
\n
