**Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Cath Lab Tech - **Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology - **Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) - **Experience:** 2 years required - **Travel Experience:** Not required (staff orientation provided) - **Certifications:** - Required: - BLS - ACLS - ARRT (R) or RCIS - Preferred: - CCI RCIS - **Skills Required:** - **Procedural Responsibilities:** - Accurate monitoring - EKG lead placement - Scrub to maintain sterile field - Abdominal and Pelvic Procedures: - Angioplasty - Chest Tube Placement - Embolization - ERCP - Gastrostomy Tube Placement - IVC filter placement - Liver Biopsy - Paracentesis - Radio embolization - Stent placement - Thoracentesis - **Vascular Studies/Procedures:** - Angioplasty - Carotid Stenting - Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision - Endovascular Interventions - TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt) - Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography - **Electrophysiology Studies:** - Arrhythmia Induction - Cardiac Ablation - Insertion/Programming of AICDs - Pacemaker Insertion - **Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures:** - Diagnostic Catheterizations (Pediatric/Neonatal) - Hemodynamic monitoring - Impella insertion - Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) - Right heart catheterization - **Additional Skills:** - Coil Embolization - Obtain vitals - **On-Call Requirements:** - 1 shift per week - Every 4th weekend on call - **Patient Care Focus:** - Work with Adults, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and Adolescents - Special Procedures: - Diagnostic and Interventional - STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, Structural Heart - **Work Environment:** - Acute Hospital, Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma - Total Staffed Beds: 407 - Charting: Epic - **Parking:** Free **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
