Medical Director / Psychiatrist, Adult Inpatient Service, FQHC

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (General) - FQHC specializing in "whole person" health integrating physical, mental, and social well-being is recruiting a Psychiatrist | Medical Director in W. Lafayette, IN.


This is a Monday through Friday position requiring no on-call. Adult patients on the 16 bed unit are treated by a multi-disciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, activity therapists, and nurse professionals. Providers are well supported by other practitioners in the health profession and together create a therapeutic environment designed for short-term intervention and mental health enhancement.

The Medical Director is responsible for leadership, quality assurance, oversight, and overall medical management of the unit. Responsibilities include planning, organizing medical and clinical practices; providing direct patient care, providing oversight to other professional medical staff, serve as a liaison between the medical staff, other clinic staff, division or corporate staff, and organizational leadership.
