Thisisahigh-visibilitycareeropportunityforaSeniorStructuralEngineerwhowantsmeaningfulresponsibility,directexposuretoleadership,andaclearpathtowardprojectmanagement.
You'llworkalongsideexperiencedengineersandprojectleaderswhilehavingtheopportunitytotakeownershipofprojects,workdirectlywithclients,contributetotechnicaldecisions,anddeveloptheleadershipskillsneededtomoveintoanAssistantProjectManager/ProjectManagerrolewithinapproximately2–3years.

You'llhavetheopportunitytoworkacrossmultipleaspectsofthebusinessratherthanbeinglimitedtoanarrowrole.
WhatYou'llDo
- ServeasStructuralEngineerofRecordonprojects
- Performstructuralanalysis,calculations,anddesignforverticalbuildingstructures
- Developcompleteconstructiondocuments,includingdrawings,specifications,andcalculations
- Providepre-designservicesincludingdatagathering,conceptualdesign,planning,andstructuralsystemselection
- Coordinatestructuralworkwitharchitectsandotherdesigndisciplines
- Workdirectlywithclientsandhelpdeterminepracticalsolutions
- Managesmallerprojectteamsandtakeincreasingownershipofprojects
- Assistwithproposals,projectbudgets,andprojectplanning
- Provideconstruction-phasesupport,includingRFIs,submittals,shopdrawings,siteobservations,andreports
- Performstructuralinvestigations,failureevaluations,andconditionassessments
- Leadorassistwithon-sitedatacollectionandanalyticalefforts
- Developanalyticalmodelsandwrittenreportsbasedoninvestigationfindings
- Performpeerreviewsofstructuralengineeringdocuments
- Participateinquality-controlreviews
- Mentordevelopingengineersandserveasatechnicalresource
- Contributetoprocessimprovementandthecontinuedgrowthoftheorganization

Requirements:
- Bachelor'sdegreeinCivilEngineering,StructuralEngineering,ArchitecturalEngineering,orarelatedfield
- 3+yearsofstructuralengineeringexperience
- Strongexperiencewithstructuralmaterials,calculations,anddesign
- Experiencewithverticalbuildingstructures
- Comfortableperformingbothdesignandinvestigativework
- Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofateam
- Willingnesstowearmultiplehatsandthriveindifferentroles
- Self-starterwithastrongsenseofownership
- InterestindevelopingAPM/ProjectManagerresponsibilities
- MustbelocaltotheOklahomaCityarea
- ExperiencewithRevit
- PE/SEpreferred,orabilitytoobtainOklahomalicensurewithinareasonabletimeframe
