Laundry Aide Facility: Acclaim Rehab and Nursing Center Location: Jersey City, NJ Schedule: Part-Time | Morning & Afternoon Shifts Pay Rate: $15.92 per hour Join Our Team! At Acclaim Rehab and Nursing Center , every team member plays an important role in creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for our residents. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to help ensure residents’ clothing and linens are properly cared for and delivered with accuracy and respect. Key Responsibilities Maintain control and accountability of resident clothing and personal laundry items. Distribute freshly laundered clothing daily, ensuring items are matched correctly to residents and room numbers. Relabel clothing and personal items as needed. Keep residents’ closets neat, organized, and well-maintained. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized laundry area. Safely operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning supplies according to facility procedures. Interact with residents, families, and staff in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner. Complete, review, and maintain required laundry documentation accurately. Follow established infection-control, safety, and facility procedures. Qualifications & Requirements At least 1 year of laundry or related experience preferred ; on-the-job training is available. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to learn new methods and adapt to best practices. Ability to safely handle cleaning products and follow all safety procedures. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service to residents.
