Spectra360 is sourcing qualified CDL Class A Truck Drivers for our client based in La Vergne, Tennessee. This full-time position involves delivering countertop and flooring materials to customer locations through a combination of local, multi-stop routes and two-day regional runs. Drivers can expect to be home every weekend. Approximately 70% of the schedule may consist of two-day runs.

Compensation

• $30$33 per hour, based on experience
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate
• Estimated annual earnings of approximately $84,900$105,800 or more, depending on experience, overtime, and applicable bonuses

Sign-On Bonus

• $500 paid with the first payroll
• Remaining $2,500 paid after successfully completing 90 days of employment
• Payment is subject to the client's eligibility requirements and sign-on bonus policy

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver countertop and flooring materials to customer locations.
• Complete local routes with multiple stops and assigned two-day regional runs.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and properly securing cargo.
• Position and use blocks, ties, straps, chains, ratchets, and binders to secure materials.
• Inspect cargo and securement equipment before and during transportation.
• Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations.
• Review and interpret bills of lading, picking sheets, and delivery documentation.
• Maintain awareness and operate the vehicle safely under changing road and weather conditions.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers and other members of the public.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and internal team members.
• Work independently while staying focused on safety, accuracy, and timely deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• At least one year of verifiable experience operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
• Ability to transport and deliver freight on both intrastate and interstate routes.
• Willingness and availability to complete two-day runs approximately 70% of the time.
• Availability for local, multi-stop deliveries as assigned.
• Ability to successfully complete a road test and all DOT pre-employment requirements.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and legal logbook requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret bills of lading and picking sheets.
• Experience using an iPad, tablet, or electronic logging device preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
• Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
• Safety-focused, dependable, and adaptable.

Physical Requirements

• Generate up to 137 pounds of vertical push-and-pull force.
• Lift and transfer up to 55 pounds.
• Carry at least 30 pounds across the length of a truck bed.
• Climb and descend a multi-rung ladder.
• Frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and crouch.
• Work at heights of approximately 72 inches above the ground while assembling or removing cargo-securement equipment.
• Work as low as approximately six inches above the ground while assembling or removing straps, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other fastening equipment.
• Safely perform all essential functions of this safety-sensitive position.
