Travel RN – ICU Float Pool (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 48 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | 75% Weekend Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Float to multiple ICU units including Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, and Cardiac ICU based on experience and unit need
• Float to Intermediate Care (IMC) units as needed, maintaining patient ratios of 1:3
• Provide direct patient care for ICU-level patients including sedated, intubated, and vasopressor-dependent patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU settings and 1:3 in IMC settings
• Demonstrate flexibility with assignments, including the potential for multiple unit assignments within a single shift
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience caring for sedated, intubated, and vasopressor-dependent patients
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple ICU and IMC units
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU specialties (Neuro, Surgical/Trauma, Cardiac, or CTICU)
• Strong team communication skills and commitment to outstanding patient care
• Demonstrated adaptability in high-acuity, fast-paced float pool environments
