Travel Medical Laboratory Technologist - $2,023 per week

Catalytic Solutions is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Bethel, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Medical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 26 weeks 32 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Join a dynamic laboratory team and contribute to impactful healthcare solutions. Work under the guidance of the laboratory manager to perform essential laboratory tests. Ensure quality control procedures are upheld to maintain the highest standards of care. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients to provide vital information and support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field required. Board eligible by NCA or ASCP; certification must be completed within one year of employment. 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology, or completion of a formal student internship. Certification as MT by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or CLS by National Accrediting Agency (NCA) required within one year. Proficiency in clinical laboratory instrumentation. Must be a laboratory generalist and capable of working independently. Ability to provide direction to Medical Laboratory Assistants. Important Information Shared housing is provided; private housing is not available. Pets are not allowed in housing units. Airfare initially paid by you or the agency; reimbursement upon arrival. Flight itinerary must be submitted at least one week in advance for scheduling. New Employee Orientation occurs every Tuesday and Wednesday. All credentials must be cleared before traveling.
