Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for an 8-week contract involving EPIC system conversion. The role requires clinical expertise in medical-surgical care, with a focus on Epic and Cerner EMR systems, supporting a smooth transition and maintaining high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and execute clinical tasks essential for a hospital EPIC conversion project.
Document patient care accurately using Epic and Cerner electronic health record systems.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless system integration and workflow continuity.
Adhere to hospital policies, including balloon pump and Impella device management protocols.
Comply with certification requirements, including BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CA licensure.
Participate in orientation sessions scheduled for August 3rd or 17th and meet start date requirements.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid CA State RN license within the specified timeline.
Possess a minimum of 6 months of recent Epic experience within the last 12 months.
Demonstrate proficiency in both Epic and Cerner EMR systems.
Have current BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications, and experience with Balloon Pump and Impella devices.
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with no RTO requests during the contract period.
