This position ensures residents receive nutritious, appetizing meals while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations of the Dietary DepartmentSupervise, train, schedule, and support dietary staffEnsure compliance with all dietary, sanitation, safety, and infection control regulationsCollaborate with Registered Dietitians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team membersMaintain food quality, nutritional standards, and resident satisfactionMonitor inventory, purchasing, and budget managementConduct departmental audits and quality improvement initiativesEnsure proper food storage, preparation, and service proceduresParticipate in resident care planning and nutritional assessments as neededQualificationsCurrent Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential requiredServSafe Certification preferredPrevious leadership experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting strongly preferredKnowledge of state and federal dietary regulationsStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to foster a positive team environmentCommitment to providing exceptional service and resident-centered careIdeal CandidateYou are a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
