About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day or Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years, with at least 6 months in Pediatric experience preferred. License: Must hold an active California RN license, pending state license accepted if an Estimated Time of Arrival for licensing is provided. Certifications: BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) required. Must-Have: - Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays, with flexibility for scheduling as needed. - Willingness to take call shifts as required. - Previous experience in various service lines, including Ortho, Neuro, Craniofacial, ENT, Dermatology, Laser, Plastics, Endo, Dental, Urology, General, Cardiac, Neuro, Kidney, and Liver Transplants is preferred. Description: This is an urgent request for a registered nurse specializing in the pediatric operating room. The position requires an ASAP start for an 8-week contract. Shifts will be scheduled as 4x10-hour shifts with variable start times. Nurses will be scheduled to work weekends and holidays as needed. Call requirements include 4 calls per 4-week schedule, which may include night shifts. Strong pediatric experience, particularly in general surgical cases, is highly preferred. Nurses will be expected to float within their scope of practice to ensure facility needs are met. Preferred qualifications include strong experience in pediatric and general surgical cases. Candidates must adhere to infection prevention protocols and universal safety measures. Additional skills in various surgical procedures are preferred.
