We serve over 10,000 people each year with psychiatric and behavioral health care outpatient services, counseling, training, employment assistance, housing support, homeless outreach, children's mental health care and more.Salary/Exempt: $61,775.01 - $68,491.06 Full-Time, 40 Hour Work Week, Paid Bi-weeklyGeneral DescriptionACT: Under the supervision of the TRR Director, the ACT Team Leader is responsible for the Assertive Community Treatment Team which is an intensive rehabilitation program for eligible persons with severe and persistent mental illness. Consumer contact is frequent, sometimes daily, with individuals, family members, or service providers to maintain community integration. Assures Performance Contract targets are met, Community Standards are achieved, and Fidelity Model followed.Will be responsible for the supervisor, training, consults, project accountability, reporting, coordination, and basic management of the day-to-day program operations. The work involves reviewing, evaluating, and reporting of program requirements to ensure compliance with standards. Will supervise the work of others. Will provide networking and collaboration with the criminal justice system and health providers to provide an array of services to individuals in the FACT program. Participate in mandated meetings and conference calls to meet program requirements. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Job requires travel, flexible hours, and a telephone.Minimum QualificationsMinimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling, social work, psychology or a field related to human behavior. Current licensure in Texas to provide counseling services (Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, etc.)Must have 2 years' experience working in a clinical mental health setting.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesIn the course of being employed, understands and implements trauma informed care practices.Demonstration of the clinical competencies required by agency-approved, standardized trainingValid Texas driver's licenseComputer literateAbility to participate as a team memberExperience in the use of teaching and counseling techniques and rehabilitation services required in providing effective assistance to persons who are disabledConsiderable knowledge of assessment techniques and toolsKnowledge of client care techniques, and of treatment, therapy and of developmental programsAbility to plan an individualized program of instruction with the clientAbility to work with others and to gain and retain the confidence of persons being instructed, guided, or directed.Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to formulate, organize, and implement a plan of action.Must have reliable transportation. May use personal vehicle to conduct business.
