Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Travel Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Los Fresnos, TX

Make a meaningful difference as a travel occupational therapist in Los Fresnos, TX. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to provide pediatric outpatient care, helping children with injuries, developmental differences, or disabilities improve daily skills while experiencing a new community. The client operates multiple clinics and values teamwork and equal treatment of all staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Texas Occupational Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in pediatric outpatient settings is required. Candidates must be able to engage effectively with children and caregivers, manage treatment programs, and maintain documentation and reports.
• Experience using cloud-based documentation systems preferred. Familiarity with basic EMR platforms is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Experience performing approximately four evaluations per week is preferred.
• Previous experience splitting time between multiple clinic locations is a plus.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday (36 hours across those days) and Friday (4 hours).
• Approximately four evaluations per week.
• Clinician will most likely split time between Los Fresnos and a nearby clinic on different days. Floating between clinic locations within a single day is unlikely.
