Career Associate - Private Investment Funds (Fund Formation)

OverviewWe are seeking a junior career associate to join our Fund Formation practice in the office listed above. This is a career associate position - a long-term, non-partnership-track role designed for attorneys who value high-quality transactional work, mentorship, work-life balance, and a defined professional path within a leading global law firm. The associate will work closely with partners and senior associates on fund formation matters, including drafting and reviewing limited partnership agreements, private placement memoranda, subscription documents, and side letters, with exposure to both sponsor-side and investor-side representations.Preferred Office Location: Wheeling, WV (with remote working available from the Pittsburgh, PA area)About the PracticeOrrick's Fund Formation practice, part of our Technology Companies Group (TCG), is among the most active and highly regarded in the United States. Coursework or interest in securities regulation, investment management, corporate law, or partnership taxation will distinguish top candidates. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
