CT Scan Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, call required (rotating).

The CT Scan Technologist is a vital member of the imaging team responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients, under the direction of a Radiologist. This role includes operating advanced imaging equipment and maintaining strict adherence to protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all CT exams and x-ray procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer contrast media and conduct biopsy/drainage procedures as necessary.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.
• Comply with all departmental protocols and guidelines for imaging.
• Collaborate with Radiologists to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• New Mexico state license and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with general and OB imaging knowledge.
