Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Cyber Investigations Administrative Specialist to support a Cyber Oversight and Investigations team focused on compliance, investigations, and audit activities.

This individual will help manage documentation, support investigation activities, organize evidence, support executive reporting, and maintain critical records. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support multiple cybersecurity investigations, audits, and compliance initiatives.
\n
• Attend meetings and capture detailed notes, action items, decisions, and follow-up tasks.
\n
• Assist with leadership reporting, dashboards, status updates, and executive presentations.
\n
• Organize and maintain investigation records, evidence, and supporting documentation.
\n
• Review documents for accuracy, consistency, readability, and quality.
\n
• Track action items, deliverables, and investigation progress.
\n
• Coordinate meetings and communication across multiple teams and stakeholders.
\n
• Manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
\n
• Help improve document quality, reporting processes, and overall organization of investigation activities.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• 7+ years of professional experience in compliance, audit, investigations, cybersecurity, PMO, governance, documentation, or administrative support.
\n
• Strong technical writing and editing skills.
\n
• Experience creating reports, meeting notes, executive summaries, presentations, and other business documentation.
\n
• Strong organization and document management skills.
\n
• Experience supporting multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
\n
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Experience supporting cybersecurity, compliance, audit, risk, governance, or investigations teams.
\n
• Familiarity with NIST Cyber Framework or CSF, foundational IT concepts. Add-on preferred NERC CIP, TSA, CMMC, FedRAMP, or similar regulatory frameworks.
\n
• Experience supporting investigations, corrective action programs, or internal audits.
\n
• Experience using Smartsheet, SharePoint, or other tracking and document management tools.
\n
• Experience in utilities, energy, nuclear, or other regulated industries.
\n

Work Environment

• Fully Remote

• Preference for Eastern or Central Time Zone candidates

• Standard business hours aligned to Eastern Time

• Long-term consulting engagement with extension or conversion potential
