Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Location: Kearney, NE

Specialty: ICU

Position Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2023 - $2437 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

If you are a skilled ICU nurse with a dedication to cardiac care, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our healthcare team in Kearney, NE. This travel position allows you to make a significant difference in a 10-bed ICU unit, caring for a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from CABG surgeries and other cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to patients in a 10-bed ICU, focusing on cardiac cases.
Utilize advanced equipment and techniques, including IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
Collaborate with a committed team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Adapt to floating requirements to PCU and Med Surg based on patient census.
Work 3x12 night shifts, including weekends and holiday rotations.
Maintain precise documentation using the EPIC system.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, with a focus on cardiac care.
Active Nebraska or compact nursing license in good standing.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
Familiarity with the EPIC charting system.
Willingness to work weekends and additional shifts as required.
