Senior Mechanical Engineer
near Crown Point, IN | Heavy Industrial Projects (Steel, Oil Refineries, etc.)
- Lead and manage mechanical improvement and capital maintenance projects within heavy industrial settings.
- Develop and implement engineering solutions to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to identify and address mechanical challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for contractors and junior engineers.
- Support business development efforts, building relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within steel mills, refineries, or other heavy industries.
- Strong expertise in capital projects, mechanical system upgrades, and equipment reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize mechanical systems.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with an interest in business development.
- PE license (preferred but not required).
