Medical Oncologist/Hematologist Opportunity

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in New Jersey, and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, are seeking a Hematology Oncology Attending Medical Oncologist (Open Rank) to join the oncology team at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC) in Livingston, NJ. The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical foundation in hematologic malignancies and classical hematology, a passion for advancing patient care through research and education, and enthusiasm for multidisciplinary collaboration.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician to practice in a collaborative environment that combines community-based excellence with the research, academic, and clinical resources of an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with malignant and classical hematologic disorders
• Participating in tumor boards, clinical trials, and disease study groups locally and through the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey
• Devoting 45 days per week to clinical practice, including outpatient and inpatient coverage
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team within the RWJBarnabas Health Cooperman Infusion Center to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Contributing to the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical and academic appointments
• Participating in departmental committees, educational programs, and outreach initiatives to enhance the Oncology Program's visibility and effectiveness

Requirements include:

• Board-certified or Board-eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New Jersey

Compensation is anticipated to be $400,000 to $800,000 per year, depending on several factors including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
