We are seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to help oversee a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen operation. This is not a traditional chef role-our kitchen focuses on high-volume food preparation, portioning, and execution to serve a 940-seat arena.This position is ideal for a motivated leader who excels in organization, team support, and maintaining consistency in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with supervising, training, and supporting kitchen staffHelp manage food preparation, portioning, and timely execution of mealsEnsure accuracy in food counts and efficient oven-based preparationMaintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standardsSupport daily kitchen operations during high-volume serviceAssist with inventory, waste, and cost controlsHelp with scheduling and staffing needsCoordinate with other departments to support show operationsStep in to oversee kitchen operations in the Kitchen Manager's absenceQualifications1-2+ years of leadership experience in food service, production, or a similar environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-volume settingExperience with inventory or food production processes preferredServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)Work EnvironmentHigh-volume, production-style kitchenStanding/walking for extended periodsLifting up to 50 lbsWhat Makes This Role DifferentNo line cooking or made-from-scratch menuFocus on execution, consistency, and supporting kitchen operationsStructured, systems-driven kitchen environment
